We had a beautiful Easter Sunday today here in Peru. Just like in the United States, the families return home and have dinner together and then enjoy a delicious treat afterwards. Here are some pictures of deserts that you can buy from the bakery.
Our Easter sacrament meeting was very inspirational and we had a couple of special guests.
HI RUTH & TONY, LOOKS LIKE YOUR EASTER WAS YUMMY.. HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU TWO. HAD LUNCH WITH MARY LAST WEEK, SHE IS DOING OK. LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED ANYTHING. LOVE & KISSES. KEN & JO
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo and Kenny. Unfortunately we didn't get to eat any of the pastries on our blog! Life is just not fair. Love you guys. Stay happy.
DeleteHola nuestros querridos amigos, saludos y abrazos fuertes!
ReplyDeleteWe are sure you are very busy. In the Utah Logan Mission, we have usually around 150 missonaries. We attend the MLC, ZC, ZTM's, Stake Conferences when assigned, and of course Presidency meetings. Lots of meeting to set thru. We have 74 Senior couple serving in the mission. They are all so wonderful. Their service is invaluable.
Things are going pretty good around here.
Best regards always
Paul and Elaine Pitcher
Hi, Paul and Elaine. Great to hear from you. I'm sure glad we don't have to sit through all those meetings! We are doing great and really enjoying our mission. This is where we need to be at this time in our life. Besides our duties and responsibilities in the Mission Offices, we get to go out and contact people and teach them the lessons if they are interested. Two of our investigators are getting baptized. One today and the other on the 6th of May. Didn't ever think that we would be out contacting people people and teaching them the discussion. We love it. Best of luck to both of you. Really miss you guys.
